Main Purpose of the Role

The job holder is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training to all colleagues within Spicerhaart, aligned with the company vision. Proper training on processes and procedures is crucial, as failure can significantly impact the business through sales.

The role also involves assessing apprenticeships on the Spicerhaart Vocational Development Programme.

Training approximately 250 colleagues

Main Activities and Duties
  1. Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance colleague performance in sales and customer experience.
  2. Deliver training to ensure procedural compliance and legislative requirements are met.
  3. Develop and maintain training manuals and documentation reflecting current policies and laws.
  4. Support other departments in developing and maintaining Operations Manuals.
  5. Review and improve training materials to ensure effective learning.
  6. Stay updated on company procedures, systems, and legal requirements to develop relevant training.
  7. Research and implement best practices in training.
  8. Participate in special projects and provide support in other areas as needed.
  9. Manage system training, including blended learning and e-learning platforms.
  10. Lead training projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  11. Support apprentices through mentorship and assessment to achieve 100% course completion.
  12. Uphold company core values and standards.
  13. Follow the company dress code.
Role-specific Competencies

Ideally educated to degree level, with a CIPD qualification in Learning and Development or equivalent experience, including at least 3 years in sales, property, or retail sales roles. Experience with learning platforms and apprenticeship programs is advantageous. Must be qualified to assess and support Level 2 & 3 apprenticeships.

The candidate should have excellent communication and presentation skills, be self-motivated, confident, flexible, organized, and accurate.

Additional Requirements

Must have a full UK driving license and legal right to work in the UK. Evidence required includes a passport or birth certificate, proof of address, National Insurance number, and driver’s license check.

* Subject to passing probation and completing 1 year of service.
