Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead and deliver essential training at HMP Parc, Bridgend. This role blends hospitality expertise with making a real impact within a prison setting.

You will develop staff and prisoners in food safety, allergen training, maintain records, and drive KPI-focused training initiatives to ensure safety and quality across operations.

Qualifications

• Deliver Food Safety and Allergen training to prisoners working in catering.
• Induct and train staff and prisoners in kitchen operations.
• Maintain training records and complete monthly safety checks.
• Provide practical demonstrations and health & hygiene instruction.
• Identify learners for NVQs and manage enrolments.
• Meet KPIs and report monthly training stats.

Location: HMP Parc, Bridgend CF35 6AP
Annual Salary: £40,000
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri (some weekends when required)

What you’ll do:

What we’re looking for:

• Strong food knowledge and Level 3 Food Safety qualification
• Must have has a minimum TAQA and PTTLS qualifications.
• Train the Trainer certification
• Principles of Assessment Quality Assurance
• Experience training and developing individuals i
• Excellent communication skills with patience and resilience
• UK residency for 5+ years, legal right to work, and ability to pass security vetting
