Bridgwater, Somerset site seeks a Training Instructor to design and deliver SAT-based training for major construction and commissioning activities. You will run classroom and simulated sessions and manage training plans to meet evolving project needs.

The role supports operational readiness, collaborates with SMEs and external providers, and maintains accurate training records. This is a contract position (Inside IR35) with strong extension potential, starting Oct 2026.

Job: Training Instructor

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset - 3 days on site + 2 days from home

Status:Contract until Dec 2026 with strong extension possibility – Good Daily Rate - Inside IR35

Start: October 2026 onwards (reasonable notice would be acceptable)

Morson Edge are working on behalf of a major player in the Energy Sector who have a current contract requirement for an experienced training professional with proven experience in the design and delivery of training materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) to join their established site-based team in Bridgwater, Somerset (TA5 1UD) as a Training Instructor supporting their £multi-bn mega construction project. This is a (renewable) contract position - inside IR35.

Job Purpose / Overview

As a Training Instructor, you’ll be part of the Project Training Team, supporting the project Construction and Commissioning Operations organisation. You’ll play a hands on role in developing, delivering and managing training that enables individuals and teams to thrive in a high environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and delivering engaging, accurate training materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
• Running classroom based and simulated training sessions with confidence and clarity
• Managing training plans and schedules to meet evolving business needs
• Supporting the transition to operational readiness with robust training preparation
• Representing the NSA EPR Project Training Team at key meetings and stakeholder forums
• Working closely with subject matter experts, external providers and internal stakeholders to maintain quality and compliance
• Keeping clear, up to date records of training completion and progress
• Driving SMART actions and following them through to successful delivery
