Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is recruiting an Instructor for Training and Development at the Training and Development Centre in Loughborough or Shepshed. The role leads high-quality training and supports operational competence, with a nine-day fortnight duty system and a commitment to three years within the department.

You will develop and deliver instructional programmes, gain nationally recognised qualifications, and help shape a modern training environment at the new facility.

Qualificações

• Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a focus on development.
• Ability to assess learner progress and adapt training materials accordingly.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality training programmes across a range of operational subjects.
• Support the achievement of departmental and organisational objectives.
• Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and Service values.
• Maintain accurate records using FireWatch, Oracle and other administrative platforms.
• Support the continual improvement of learning materials and training delivery methods.
• Develop and maintain specialist instructional competencies aligned to departmental requirements.
• Contribute to creating an engaging, inclusive and safe learning environment.
