Job summary

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking four substantive Instructors for the Training and Development Department on a nine-day fortnight duty system. You will deliver engaging training programmes across operational subjects and support staff competence.

Qualifications

• Must be committed to achieving Level 3 Education and Training and CAVA qualifications
• Experience delivering training across operational disciplines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training programmes across operational subjects
• Support achievement of departmental and organisational objectives
• Act as a professional role model with Service values
• Maintain accurate records using FireWatch, Oracle and other systems
• Contribute to improving learning materials and training delivery methods
• Develop specialist instructional competencies aligned to requirements
• Create an engaging, inclusive and safe learning environment
