Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a part-time Training & Development Coordinator at our JD Outdoor site in Middlewich. You will deliver engaging inductions and coordinate operational training for new and existing colleagues, ensuring all legal and training requirements are met.

This 22.5‑hour-per-week role runs Wednesday to Friday 09:00–17:00 with flexibility. Salary is up to £19,000 per annum with 17 days of annual leave and a benefits package.

We are looking for a part-time Training & Development Coordinator to join our JD Outdoor site in Middlewich. You'll be responsible for delivering first-class inductions and coordinating operational training to new and existing colleagues, ensuring all legal and operational training requirements are met while promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

This is a part-time, permanent role, and working 22.5 hours, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00 to 17:00. Flexibility is required with this role.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver engaging inductions and operational training programmes for new and existing colleagues
• Ensure all mandatory, operational, and legal training requirements are completed and accurately recorded
• Maintain training records and training matrices to support compliance and operational excellence
• Act as a learning and development champion, coaching and supporting colleagues to reach their full potential
• Collaborate with site stakeholders to identify training needs and support workforce development initiatives

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Deliver planned training programmes, inductions, cross-training, and coaching activities to support operational requirements
• Maintain accurate training records and training matrices, ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards
• Support colleagues in achieving competency sign-off against SOPs and SSOWs within agreed timescales
• Conduct regular BSAFE observations and promote a strong safety and compliance culture across the site
• Produce training reports and provide insights and updates to management as required
