Job summary

Hill Mcglynn is seeking an experienced Training & Compliance Manager to develop and drive the company’s training strategy across multiple sites in Potters Bar. The role focuses on maintaining compliance with UK Health & Safety, Employment Law, and environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement.

You will manage accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, ISO 9001/14001/45001), coordinate audits, and lead training delivery with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in Training, Compliance, HSQE or similar management role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of UK construction legislation, compliance requirements and management systems.
• Experience managing accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, ISO 9001/14001/45001).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual training strategy for all departments.
• Coordinate internal and external training programmes including CPD and refresher courses.
• Maintain training records, certifications and competency databases.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation including Health & Safety and Employment Law.
• Review and update policies and management systems in line with changes.
• Coordinate external audits and accreditation assessments.
