Job summary

Poolhall Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support construction projects across the UK. You will ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, maintain site standards and provide practical H&S support to project teams.

The role requires national travel across the UK, a minimum of 3 years construction experience, and a proactive, organised approach. Full UK driving licence is essential for multi-site work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, LOLER, PUWER, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and ISO 45001.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work across multiple sites with a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site health and safety inspections and audits.
• Deliver toolbox talks and review RAMS.
• Monitor and maintain health and safety documentation.
• Provide practical health and safety guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
• Support the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
• Produce reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
