Job summary

Kier Group plc. in Brixworth, Northamptonshire is recruiting a Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess courses across multiple areas, with hybrid working and nationwide coverage.

The role requires travel and occasional overnight stays, supported by a £40,000–£45,000 salary plus a £5,000 car allowance and benefits. You will deliver face-to-face and remote training, assess against standards, and work with coordinators to identify training needs across contracts.

Qualifications

• Has demonstrable experience delivering training courses and assessments, both face-to-face and remotely.
• Experience in training and assessing across areas such as Driver CPC, Traffic Management, Streetworks, Plant Operations, Winter Maintenance, First Aid or Health & Safety.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable travelling and staying away from home when required.
• Demonstrates strong organisation, time management and workload management skills.
• Takes a collaborative, trusted and focused approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting others to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Delivering courses and assessments to Awarding Organisation and Centre standards, both face to face and remotely.
• Training and assessing in areas such as Driver CPC, Streetworks, Traffic Management, Plant Operations, Winter Maintenance, First Aid and Health and Safety.
• Using IT systems to upload assessment evidence and document assessment activities.
• Working with coordinators to support training needs across various contracts and locations.
• Supporting quality assurance activities to maintain high standards.
