Job summary

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) is seeking an AM2 Centre Assessor to deliver, assess and quality assure AM2-related training for apprentices and learners at our Stretford campus. You will coach, provide feedback, and ensure learners are prepared for final assessment in line with industry standards.

We require substantialElectrical Installation experience, strong communication, and commitment to learner success.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess AM2 and associated practical assessments.

  • Participate in quality assurance and standardisation activities.
  • Support learner recruitment, enrolment and employer engagement.

Role: Trainer Assessor - AM2

Hours: 36.25 hours per week, Permanent Full-Time

Salary: £32,943 - £43,356 FTE

Pension contribution: 15% (£ FTE)

Location: Stretford campus, M32 0XH ( with the requirement to travel to employer sites )

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) is seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer Assessor contributing to our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.

About The Role

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional looking to develop the next generation of skilled electricians? We are seeking an enthusiastic AM2 Centre Assessor to deliver, assess and quality assure practical skills training for apprentices and learners undertaking AM2, AM2E and related electrical installation qualifications. You will assess practical competence, technical knowledge and safe working practices, providing high-quality coaching, support and feedback to ensure learners are fully prepared for final assessment and successful careers within the electrical industry. Working closely with the AM2 Centre Manager, employers and awarding organisations, you will support learner progress, maintain accurate assessment records, contribute to quality assurance activities and help ensure our training and assessment facilities reflect current industry standards and regulatory requirements.
