Job summary

Pacifica is recruiting a Trainee White Goods Engineer – Field Based in Bristol. No prior experience required; full training provided through City & Guilds Assured Programme, with a dedicated mentor to guide you as you become a qualified engineer.

You will repair and maintain appliances such as washing machines, fridges, and dishwashers, visiting customers at home, using hand tools, and learning our on-site software.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or electrical experience with hand tools.
• Willing to undertake full training via City & Guilds Assured Programme.
• Full UK driving licence with <=6 points.

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers.
• Visit customers' homes to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Record job details using our in-house engineer software.

No experience in white goods repair necessary, but we are looking for candidates with previous hands‑on mechanical or electrical experience and using tools. What You Will Do

• Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
• Visiting customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site
• Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software
• Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
• Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally
• Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience
