Norse Group seeks a motivated Trainee Water Hygiene Technician to join our Lancashire team. No prior water hygiene experience is required as full training and industry qualifications are provided.

The role covers monitoring, sampling, cleaning and remedial works across Lancashire and surrounding areas. Successful candidates will learn from experienced technicians, progress through salary bands after probation, and enjoy structured career progression within a growing water hygiene division.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using tablets/mobile devices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to travel throughout the region as required.
• Willingness to learn and complete DBS check.

Responsabilités

• Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.
• Water sampling in accordance with company procedures.
• Inspection and cleaning of cold-water storage tanks.
• Cleaning and disinfecting shower heads, hoses and spray outlets.
• Flushing of infrequently used outlets.
• Inspection, servicing and testing of TMVs.
• Completion of electronic service reports using handheld devices.
• Assisting with remedial plumbing works and disinfection activities.
• Support experienced technicians with site inspections and compliance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records per guidance and procedures.
