Job summary

Rock Compliance Limited in Gloucester is seeking a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer to support field teams and learn essential hygiene duties across our client sites. You will assist with ACoP L8 HSG274 compliance tasks, MV testing, flushing, cleaning and basic servicing under supervision.

Ideal candidates are reliable, well-organised and able to communicate clearly with on-site clients. A clean driving licence and willingness to travel are required; DBS checks may be conducted for new starters.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygiene or regulatory compliance is desirable but not required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Role involves field work and travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ACoP L8 HSG274 part 2 compliance related work
• TMV Fail Safe Testing & Calibration and Servicing
• Flushing & Testing of Expansion Vessels
• Showerhead cleaning and disinfection
• Cleaning & disinfection support (2nd man)
• Annual Tank Inspections & Clean
• Building effective relationships with on-site clients
• Excellent organisation and time keeping skills working to deadlines
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Standards, systems, procedures, and process focused
• Self-motivated, using own initiative, desire to learn and achieve
• A full clean driving license is required
• You may be required to travel around your region with the need for an occasional overnight stay
• Due to the nature of some of our clients, a DBS check will be conducted on all of our new starters.
