Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to deliver a range of planned water hygiene services across diverse sites. You will work across commercial, industrial and public sector environments, ensuring high standards of compliance and customer service.

The role requires independent work, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining ACOP L8 and HSG274 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene duties across commercial, industrial and public sector sites.
• CWST cleaning and disinfection experience.
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance recommended.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Willingness to travel across designated region.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs).
• Complete routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Undertake servicing and maintenance of water hygiene equipment.
• Carry out heating system checks and chemical dosing.
• Complete accurate service reports and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with ACOP L8, HSG274 and company procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients on site.
• Maintain company vehicle, equipment and stock levels.
• Desirable: carry out cooling tower inspections or servicing.
