Job summary

Rock Compliance is seeking a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team in the Oxford area. The role focuses on essential water hygiene tasks and compliance with ACoP L8 standards, with on-site client interaction and potential travel within the region.

As a trainee, you will perform flushing, VT testing, and cleaning/disinfection duties under supervision, developing skills in TMV servicing, expansion vessel testing, and annual tank inspections.

Qualifications

• Ability to build effective relationships with on-site clients.
• Excellent organisation and time management to meet deadlines.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Adherence to standards, systems and processes.
• Self-motivation and willingness to learn and achieve.
• Full clean driving licence required.
• Occasional travel and overnight stays may be needed.
• DBS check will be conducted on new starters.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ACoP L8 HSG274 part 2 compliance related work
• TMV Fail Safe Testing & Calibration and Servicing
• Flushing & Testing of Expansion Vessels
• Showerhead cleaning and disinfection
• Cleaning & disinfection support (2nd man)
• Annual Tank Inspections & Clean

Required Skills:

• Building effective relationships with on-site clients
• Excellent organisation and time keeping skills working to deadlines
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Standards, systems, procedures, and process focused
• Self-motivated, using own initiative, desire to learn and achieve
• A full clean driving license is required
• You may be required to travel around your region with the need for an occasional overnight stay
• Due to the nature of some of our clients, a DBS check will be conducted on all of our new starters.
