GB Railfreight offers a structured training programme to obtain a Train Driver Licence. Successful candidates will join a comprehensive training and assessment programme run by the Training & Standards Department at the Peterborough training school, with courses commencing in coming months.
Applicants must be available for 15 weeks of classroom training without disruption (no annual leave) and must later pass a TDLC railway medical before the next intake.
About The Role
If successful, you will be required to attend a comprehensive training and assessment programme. This is led by our Training & Standards Department in our state of the art Training school in Peterborough, learning everything you need to obtain a Train Drivers Licence.
Applicants must be available to complete the classroom training without disruption for 15 weeks (this means no annual leave). These training courses are planned to commence in coming months.
You must PASS a full TDLC railway medical ahead of the training course, we will arrange this for you if successful at interview stage.
The salary whilst training is £28,937 per annum.
