Job summary

GB Railfreight offers a structured training programme to obtain a Train Driver Licence. Successful candidates will join a comprehensive training and assessment programme run by the Training & Standards Department at the Peterborough training school, with courses commencing in coming months.

Applicants must be available for 15 weeks of classroom training without disruption (no annual leave) and must later pass a TDLC railway medical before the next intake.

Qualifications

• Must have passed Train Driver Psychometric Assessment in the last 5 years.
• Reside within 45 minutes of Tonbridge.
• Over 21 with a clean UK manual car driving licence.
• Must PASS the TDLC railway medical ahead of training.
