Job summary

GB Railfreight invites applications for a trainee Train Driver role with a comprehensive 15-week training and assessment programme. Training is led by the Training & Standards Department at our Peterborough facility, with the aim of obtaining a Train Driver Licence.

Applicants must be available to complete the classroom training without disruption, live within 45 minutes of Northampton, be over 21 with a clean UK manual driving licence, and pass a TDLC medical ahead of the training.

Qualifications

• Pass a Train Driver Psychometric Assessment within past 5 years.
• Live within 45 minutes of Northampton.
• Be over 21 with a clean UK manual car licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend a comprehensive training and assessment programme.
• Complete classroom training without disruption for 15 weeks.
• Undergo TDLC railway medical ahead of training.
