Job summary
Core Highways Group in Heathfield (Newton Abbot), Devon, invites applications for Trainee Traffic Management Operatives to join our nationwide team. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of Traffic Management solutions in line with health and safety regulations and company policies, gaining hands-on experience across our services.
The role requires physical activity and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Set up traffic management sites per National Highways Sector Schemes 12AB/12C
- Complete risk assessments
- Load vehicles safely with required traffic management
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Report near misses to Depot Supervisor or Manager
- Assist with maintaining depot stock levels by organizing equipment
