Job summary

Redshore, a leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical machinery, has a new Trainee Test Technician role on the Leicester/Coventry border between Hinckley and Nuneaton.

You will support gauging and measurement, laser etching and control, basic soldering and test work, and participate in learning and development within the engineering team.

The package includes a basic salary of £24,000–£26,000, pension, flexitime, overtime and an early Friday finish.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical machinery on the Leicester/Coventry border between Hinckley and Nuneaton for a Trainee Test Technician to join its expanding team.

THE ROLE

It will be the role of the Trainee Test Technician to be responsible for a number of technical roles within the engineering team.

• Gauging and measurement work
• Laser Etching and control
• Basic Soldering and Test work
• Learning and Development

THE CANDIDATE

In order to succeed in the role of Trainee Test Technician you will need to have a range of skills including good fine motorskills and hand eye coordination as well as a basic soldering. You will need to be motivated and happy to work in a hands on engineering environment. This role could suit and engineer/technician straight from there apprenticeship or even a college leaver with a basic technical understanding who is looking to start a career in the manufacturing industry.
