Job summary

Redshore is recruiting a Trainee Electronics Technician to join a leading electro-mechanical machinery manufacturer on the Hinckley area. The role involves hands-on engineering tasks, learning on the job and developing skills in gauging, testing and basic soldering.

The successful candidate will be motivated, practical and ready to work in a busy manufacturing environment, with early Friday finishes and potential overtime. Pension and flexitime are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Could be suitable for an engineer/technician straight from an apprenticeship or a college leaver with basic technical understanding.
• Good fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are essential.
• Basic soldering ability is advantageous for the role.
