Job summary

Catalent, Inc. in Swindon is seeking Trainee Technicians to support the Operations team responsible for turning raw materials into Zydis tablets. You will learn across all areas, support technicians, and help maintain production schedules on a 2 day / 2 night shift pattern.

The role is 100% onsite in Swindon with GMP and SOP compliance emphasized. The position focuses on developing competence in Dispense & Mixing, Form Fill Freeze, Sealing, and Secondary Packaging while promoting safety and

Qualifications

• Proven communication skills.
• Good team player.
• Able to follow written instructions.
• Able to complete written batch records.
• GMP work experience preferable.
• Manufacturing experience an advantage.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Operate and develop skills in Dispense & Mixing, Form Fill Freeze, Sealing, and Secondary Packaging.
• Minimise downtime, improve equipment availability, and reduce turnaround times.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and maintain accurate batch records.
• Perform in-process checks and audits to uphold quality standards.
• Promote safety best practices and participate in risk assessments and investigations.
• Support training and development of team members and maintain your own training record.
• Drive waste reduction, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with additional tasks to ensure smooth production flow.
