Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Trainee Teaching Assistants to join schools in Chelmsford. This role offers training and the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting pupils and teachers throughout the day.

You will work with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment, assisting with activities, routines and student engagement. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with children.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Patient and approachable.
• Able to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Willing to learn and develop their skills.
• Previous experience working with children is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
• Working with individuals and small groups of children.
• Helping teachers prepare classroom activities and resources.
• Providing encouragement and support to pupils throughout the school day.
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
