Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is offering a Trainee Teaching Assistant placement in the Doncaster/Retford area. The programme provides high quality training and paid on-the-job experience after a successful interview and required safeguarding checks.

You will choose a focus (primary, secondary, or SEND) and receive ongoing support from a dedicated consultant. A training programme prior to starting will equip you with essential skills to work as a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Work with the class teacher to manage behaviour and support with interventions.
• Provide additional support to children with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities).
• Assist with recording and reporting pupil progress and behaviour and help ensure pupils make good progress.
