Vision for Education is excited to offer a Trainee Teaching Assistant role in Newcastle upon Tyne. This paid placement provides bespoke training and on-the-job experience after interview and safeguarding checks.

You'll choose a specialist area (EYFS, KS1, KS2) and complete a comprehensive training programme with school leaders before placement starts. Selected candidates will develop essential classroom skills, communication prowess and collaborative abilities, with DBS and Update Service

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting and helping children.
• Be dedicated to improving outcomes for all children.
• Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teaching and interventions as directed.
• Work 1:1 with children to meet needs.
• Help build relationships with staff, children and families.
