Accent Group Limited is seeking a Trainee Surveyor in Bradford with hybrid working. The role starts in office during training, then requires at least one in-office day per week and regional travel for training and meetings.

The salary is £32,936 per year including car allowance, with a 2-year fixed-term contract and 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri). You will inspect properties, assess repairs, and work with contractors, progressing towards a professional qualification while developing IT,

Qualifications

• Interest in building maintenance and working with contractors to deliver reactive maintenance services.
• Willingness to work towards and achieve Level 3 BTech in the Built Environment.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Evidence of regular study for ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property inspections and assess repairs.
• Work with contractors to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Shadow experienced surveyors and develop technical and customer service skills.
• Contribute to meeting requirements under new health and safety legislation.
