Qualifications

• Degree in a science-based subject; post-graduate training entry requirements.
• Desirable: BSc in Radiography, Midwifery or equivalent care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision to deliver obstetric ultrasound services and develop competencies.
• Develop skills to independently perform ultrasound examinations in line with protocols.
• Organise and prioritise daily workloads to meet patient needs.
• Communicate with patients in a compassionate, professional manner and discuss findings under supervision.
• Apply clinical judgement to determine appropriate screening pathways within training.
• Escalate abnormal findings to ensure timely review and action.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use Trust IT systems.
• Participate in the postgraduate training programme and complete required competencies.
