Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board invites applications from experienced Sonographers for Ultrasound scanning across a busy radiology service. The post is based at Singleton Hospital with potential to work across Swansea Bay sites, including obstetric, vascular and general ultrasound portfolios.

The successful candidate will hold HCPC registration and a postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound, with a BSc in Radiography.

Qualifications

• HCPC Registration is essential.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (PgC/PgD/MSc).
• BSc in Radiography is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of ultrasound scans including obstetrics, general abdominal, vascular.
• Report findings and contribute to patient care within the ultrasound service.
• Work as part of a dynamic team with radiologists and other staff.
• Manage workload and meet deadlines while ensuring patient safety.
