Job summary

Streamline Search is recruiting for a Trainee Solar Installer to join the installation team in the South East London area. The role offers full training, a salary of £25,000 per annum, and a Monday–Friday 35-hour week with site-based flexibility.

Applicants should have construction site experience, a valid CSCS card, and a genuine interest in renewable energy. Training will be provided to enable progression in solar PV installation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience on construction sites is essential.
• CSCS card is essential.
• No prior Solar PV experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Solar PV installers and electricians with installations across residential and commercial sites.
• Assist with the installation of mounting systems, racking and solar panels.
• Prepare, load and transport tools, equipment and materials to site.
• Operate hand and power tools following training.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Carry out basic measurements and calculations under supervision.
• Work as part of a team while developing Solar PV installation skills.
