Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the utilities sector for Smart Meter Technicians. No prior experience is necessary – full training, equipment, and a company vehicle will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the utilities sector. You’ll be installing and exchanging smart water meters across local properties and uploading data via a company-issued tablet, with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A reasonably clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Must be located within commutable distance to Bath (accommodation not provided).

Responsibilities

• Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties.
• Upload data using provided tablet and software.
• Support the team on a variety of projects and initiatives, including water network surveys and installations.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of small projects and packages of work.
• Work independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments.
