Gleeds invites enthusiastic students to join a 12-month Cost Management placement in the UK. You will work within a project team, supporting Cost Managers and Quantity Surveyors to help deliver major developments from design through to completion.

You will develop commercial and technical skills under experienced professionals, with potential progression into our graduate programme. A built-environment degree and right to work in the UK are required, and the role offers a competitive salary and

Qualifications

• Be currently studying towards a degree in quantity surveying or built environment with a 12-month industrial placement forming part of your course.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• From day one, be part of a project team supporting Cost Managers and Quantity Surveyors to deliver projects.
• Assist with preparing cost estimates, cost plans, cost-in-use studies, and tender documentation.
• Help manage tender processes, including evaluations and reporting.
• Support contract administration, valuations, payments, final accounts, and client reporting.
• Contribute to high-quality service delivery across projects.
