Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited, Willand, is seeking a Trainee QA Technician to join a 100% organic, plant-based food manufacturer. You will support production, perform inspections, and help maintain quality standards while training from the ground up.

You will work with Production and Technical teams, complete quality documentation, and gain qualifications through full training. The role suits someone from a manufacturing background looking to start a long-term career in food quality and

Qualifications

• Interest in Quality Assurance and starting a QA career.
• Background in manufacturing or similar is helpful for this trainee role.
• Full training will be provided from ground up with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Carry out routine quality checks, inspections and sampling throughout the production process.
• Complete online quality checks in line with site procedures and testing frequencies.
• Ensure full product traceability and accurate record-keeping.
• Review and verify daily production paperwork for compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Work Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm.

You will join a modern BRC-accredited manufacturing facility and play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and compliance.

This varied role will see you working closely with Production and Technical teams, carrying out product inspections, monitoring manufacturing processes, completing quality documentation and ensuring products meet customer and company specifications. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within food quality and technical operations.

This role would suit someone looking to get into Quality Assurance coming from a manufacturing background or similar, or with any relevant qualifications, looking to join a company that offers full training from the ground up, overtime to boost earnings and opportunities to progress.

The Role:

• Monitoring daily production activities to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards
• Carrying out routine quality checks, inspections and sampling throughout the production process

• Reviewing and verifying daily production paperwork to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
