Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited's client in Willand is seeking a Trainee QA Technician to join a modern, BRC-accredited facility within the organic, plant-based food sector. The role offers full training from day one and opportunities to advance within quality assurance and technical operations.

You will work with Production and Technical teams, perform inspections and monitor processes, ensuring products meet customer and company standards, with overtime to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Interest in entering Quality Assurance with a manufacturing background.
• Willingness to undergo full training and gain qualifications.
• Able to commute to Willand and work 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Carry out routine quality checks, inspections and sampling throughout production.
• Complete online quality checks in line with site procedures and testing frequencies.
• Ensure full product traceability and maintain records.
• Review and verify daily production paperwork for compliance.

You will join a modern BRC-accredited manufacturing facility and play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and compliance.

This varied role will see you working closely with Production and Technical teams, carrying out product inspections, monitoring manufacturing processes, completing quality documentation and ensuring products meet customer and company specifications. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within food quality and technical operations.

The Role:

• Monitoring daily production activities to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards
• Carrying out routine quality checks, inspections and sampling throughout the production process
• Completing online quality checks in line with site procedures and testing frequencies
• Ensuring full product traceability is maintained and all records are completed accurately
• Reviewing and verifying daily production paperwork to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
