Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust invites applications for Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) positions with the BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire NHS Talking Therapies service. The role combines 3 days of clinical practice in Swindon, Devizes or Salisbury with 2 days of university study toward a PGCert and degree (Low Intensity CBT).

Starting salary is Band 4, with progression to Band 5 upon qualification.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree or evidence of RF Level 5 qualification.
• At least 1 year experience with adults who have mental health problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-volume, low-intensity CBT-based self-management support.
• Assess referrals and determine suitability for service.
• Conduct patient interviews to identify goals and assess risk; support recovery.
• Attend required training and complete university study days; travel within locality.
