Job summary

Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner positions in Leicester are offered by Vita Health Group Ltd. This fixed-term 12-month training post leads to a Qualified PWP after successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate with De Montfort University.

Salary is £27,872 per year. Full-time, temporary role with opportunities to apply for a permanent post and join an innovative Talking Therapies service.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or evidence of Level 5 minimum.
• Level 6 qualification requires at least one year with people who have mental health problems; Level 5 requires two years.
• Ability to study at undergraduate level or equivalent.
• Flexible and able to provide out-of-hours clinics.
• Willingness to travel and engage with diverse groups.
• Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, art therapy or psychology-related degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide Low Intensity interventions within the Talking Therapies service.
• Support training through Post Graduate Certificate delivered by De Montfort University.
• Deliver Step 2 Guided Self-Help interventions for common mental health issues.
• Work across Leicester City, Leicestershire & Rutland with supervision.
