Qualifications

• Outgoing and mentoring manner.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
• Think on your feet and be proactive; no day is the same in a Special School.
• Ability to form excellent relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a range of vulnerable children ranging from Reception to KS4.
• Be able to appropriately calm children down and de-escalate.
• Be able to effectively behaviour manage.
• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class and minimise disruption.
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Be available – Full time – 8.15am – 3.30pm.
