Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust offers a two-year fixed-term Apprenticeship to become a Pharmacy Technician. Trainees will enrol on the Apprenticeship Pharmacy Technician Training Programme to develop the knowledge and skills required for GPhC registration and to work under supervision.

Four days a week are spent gaining vocational experience with one study day per week, supporting pharmacy teams to deliver services to patients across multiple sites within the Trust.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade 4/C or higher including English, Maths and at least one science.
• Ability to work with healthcare professionals, patients and carers.
• Self-motivated and highly committed to complete the knowledge modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pharmacy service under supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.
• Gain vocational experience four days per week with one study day per week.
