This two-year fixed-term apprenticeship offers a structured programme combining on‑the‑job learning with an approved Pharmacy Technician qualification.

You will work alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, support safe medicine supply, gain experience across the pharmacy service, and rotate through areas while completing workplace assessments

Qualifications

GCSE Maths, English and Science at grade 4/C or above plus three additional GCSEs at grade 4/C or above.
BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist in providing safe, efficient pharmacy services under supervision.
Assist with dispensing and stock control activities.
Develop medicines optimisation skills and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
Rotate through different areas of the pharmacy service and complete workplace competency assessments.
Contribute to audits and service improvement initiatives.
