Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is offering an apprenticeship training path to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician. The two-year fixed term role begins February 2027, with a comprehensive rotation across hospital dispensaries, distribution, goods receipt, and clinical services while you study for a BTEC Level 3 Diploma.

You will be supported to complete underpinning knowledge courses, with practical training in-house to qualify as a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• UK resident for a minimum of three years.
• Eligible for apprenticeship funding.
• Commitment to a training programme while working.

Responsibilities

• Work across Inpatients/Outpatients Dispensary, Distribution, Purchasing and other sections on rotation.
• Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians and help with medicines management.
• Manufacture sterile products and support patient care in medications.
