Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is advertising a 2-year Fixed Term Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship. The role trains you to become a pharmacy technician while working within the Trust’s pharmacy services across multiple sites.

Salary is £25,272 per annum (pro rata for part time). Four days per week on-site with one study day weekly to complete underpinning knowledge modules for registration with the GPhC.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or equivalent, including English, maths and a science subject.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• A levels or evidence of further education.

Responsibilities

• Work with healthcare professionals, patients and carers to provide a pharmacy service under supervision.
• Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Complete the apprenticeship course and achieve GPhC registration to become a pharmacy technician.
• Rotations across multiple sites with travel between locations as required.
