Job summary

Join our Pharmacy Grade Apprenticeship at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for a 2-year fixed-term contract, training to become a Pharmacy Technician. You’ll study while working, with on-the-job experience and development toward GPhC registration.

Four days per week you’ll gain vocational experience, with one study day weekly to complete underpinning knowledge modules led by the course provider. The role is based across Trust sites in the East Midlands.

Qualifications

• Minimum entry requirements: 4 GCSEs at grade 4/C including English, maths and at least one science.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent qualification.
• A levels or equivalent education must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pharmacy service under supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician, communicating clearly with patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrate excellent organisation, ability to work efficiently, and attention to detail.
• Complete the apprenticeship programme while training and gaining vocational experience four days a week with one study day.
• Travel between Trust sites to support pharmacy services.
