Job summary

Beeston Pharmacy in Beeston is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy team. The role supports the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while training to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

You will progress through a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, training delivered blended with your job, and upon successful completion you can register with the GPhC. Potential for full-time employment after completion.

Qualifications

• A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• The willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.

NG9 2LA We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
