Job summary

Cohens Chemist is hiring a 40-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed-term 12-month contract at our Macclesfield branch. You will gain practical dispensing knowledge and NVQ level 2 in Dispensing through on-the-job training and courses.

The role involves accurate dispensing, stock management, and delivering excellent customer service with support from the Pharmacist. Evening and weekend shifts are included as part of the pro-rata rota.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a well-established team and provide high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and label prescription items under supervision from the Pharmacist.
• Assist with ordering and stock management within the dispensary and shop.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to colleagues.
