Job summary

Boots in the UK is looking for a Trainee Dispenser to join the store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, learn the dispenser role through NVQ2 training, and help with patient care and medicine dispensing.

The role is in-store with full training provided and opportunities for progression within the pharmacy team. No prior experience is required; you will gain practical experience and certification while contributing to safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures in a pharmacy setting.
• Interest in pharmacy and helping customers with medicines.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and operational processes.
