Job summary

Cohens Chemist is seeking a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant for a zero-hour, permanent role at our Stockport branch. You will gain knowledge leading to NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing and the Counter Course, with training supported by the team.

The role suits candidates with customer service experience who are keen to progress through targeted training, with duties including dispensing guidance and stock management in a busy dispensary and shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
• Gaining NVQ Level 2 and Counter Course in dispensing will be supported.

Responsibilities

• Accurate dispensing and labeling of prescription items under pharmacist guidance.
• Assist with ordering and stock management in the dispensary and shop.
• Provide high standard of service to customers and work as part of the team.
• Maintain attention to detail and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
