Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Southport is seeking a flexible Dispenser or Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. The role offers 30 hours per week over 4–5 days, with a 6-month horizon and potential extension. Hourly rates are £13.80 for Dispenser and £13.00 for Trainee.

No prior pharmacy experience is required; NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent is welcomed. The job focuses on customer service, teamwork and professional development within a supportive pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) is required or pursued.
• No prior pharmacy experience is required for trainees.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver excellent service at the pharmacy counter and in dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are treated with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.
