Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc is hiring for a role in Preston St George's. We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Hours: 20 hours per week with flexibility Monday to Saturday. Salary: £13.80 per hour for a Dispenser; up to £13.00 per hour for a Trainee. No prior experience required—passion for healthcare and customer service is valued. Training and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent).
• No prior experience required – passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Willingness to learn and training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.
