Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and patients to the pharmacy.
• Listen to patients and help them with their healthcare needs.
• Support the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals with daily pharmacy services.
• Assist with dispensing of prescriptions under supervision.
• Help order, label and prepare medicines for dispensing.
• Support safe supply and collection of prescription medicines.
• Assist with endorsement and related processes.
• Help customers understand the healthcare services available.
• Provide information and advice as training develops.
• Build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Follow pharmacy procedures to maintain safe and efficient services.
• Complete the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ Level 2 training programme.
