Job summary

Quilter Cheviot is seeking a Trainee Paraplanner in the Investment Management team. Based in Birmingham with hybrid working options, you will support Financial Planners and experienced paraplanners in preparing financial planning recommendations and client reports while studying for professional qualifications.

You will gain exposure to investment, retirement, protection, and estate planning, developing technical knowledge and progressing within the paraplanning profession.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of financial planning reports, documentation and client recommendations.
• Assist with research and analysis of pensions, investments, protection, and other advice areas.
• Gather, review and maintain client information to support advice processes.
• Develop understanding of end-to-end paraplanning process and professional study.
• Build and apply technical knowledge through study and practice.
• Use internal systems to maintain records and produce documentation.
• Attend internal training and pursue industry qualifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners, Administrators, Compliance and other stakeholders to deliver client outcomes.
