Job summary

Quilter Cheviot is seeking a motivated individual to join the Investment Management Paraplanning team as a Trainee Paraplanner. You will support Financial Planners and experienced paraplanners in preparing financial planning recommendations and client reports while developing technical knowledge.

You will gain exposure to investments, retirement, protection, and estate planning as you progress through structured training and professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study towards Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of suitability reports and client recommendations.
• Assist with research and analysis of financial planning solutions.
• Gather and review client information to support advice processes.
• Develop understanding of end-to-end paraplanning processes.
• Build technical knowledge through study and practical experience.
• Use internal systems to maintain records and produce documentation.
• Attend internal training and pursue industry qualifications.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners and Compliance teams to deliver outcomes.
• Share knowledge and support colleagues as part of the team.
